1. Create one page for each important service.

Do not hide every service inside one paragraph on the homepage. Each major service deserves a page with a clear title, useful explanation, FAQs, and a contact path.

Service pages help search engines match the right page to the right intent. They also help visitors understand exactly what you offer before they call, email, or request a quote.

2. Write titles and descriptions for searchers.

Every page should have a unique title and meta description. The copy should match what a potential customer would search for, not only what the business calls the service internally.

Use the service, audience, and location where appropriate. A title like "Small Business Website Design in Toronto" is usually clearer than a generic "Services" page.

3. Use headings that explain the page.

Use one H1 per page, then H2 sections for services, process, deliverables, FAQs, location signals, and calls to action.

Headings should summarize the page, not decorate it. If someone scans only the headings, they should still understand the offer, process, and next step.

4. Add trust and contact signals.

  • Show who the business helps.
  • Make phone, email, or inquiry links easy to find.
  • Add FAQs that answer real buyer concerns.
  • Use privacy, terms, and support links when relevant.

Trust signals do not need to be flashy. Clear ownership, real contact details, consistent branding, useful examples, and honest answers often matter more than decorative badges.

5. Keep the site fast and mobile-friendly.

Many local and service searches happen on phones. Pages should load quickly, text should fit, buttons should be easy to tap, and contact actions should be obvious.

Start with right-sized images, fewer render-blocking resources, readable type, stable layouts, and a simple path to the main call to action.

6. Make the site crawlable.

Use internal links, canonical URLs, sitemap coverage, valid schema, and descriptive anchor text so search engines can discover and understand the site.

Every important page should be reachable from another visible page. Avoid orphan pages that only exist in a sitemap and are never linked from the website.
